Nowa Is Free All Weekend! Go Build That Idea (and Win 500$ worth of AI Credits)
Hey builders,
We're really excited to open Nowa up for everyone, for free, all weekend.
We know a lot of you have a good idea sitting in the back of your mind. Maybe you tried to build it before and got stuck with the tools you had. Or maybe you just never had the time. Either way, we want to give you a reason to finally build it and put it out into the world.

What's happening this weekend
For 48 hours, from Saturday 20 June 00:00 UTC until Sunday 21 June 23:59 UTC, Nowa is free for everyone. You get full AI access, and you can deploy your app live to the Web, the App Store, or the Play Store, all for free. No card, no catch. Just you, your idea, and two days to make it real.
What you get for building
To help you keep going, everyone who builds a complete app gets 50 free credits, so you can keep working on your app after the weekend ends.
And if your app is one of the top 3, you'll get 1,000 free AI credits (worth about $500) to keep growing it, plus a feature on our socials so more people see it.
What we mean by "complete"
We don't mean a big app with a ton of features. We mean an app that solves one problem, fully. Even a small app that really helps someone is way better than a big app that doesn't solve anything. So don't worry about making it huge. Just pick one problem and solve it well.
You probably already have the idea
Here's something we really believe: you see things other people don't. You come from your own background, you've felt your own frustrations, and you've noticed problems that other people either can't see, or can see but never do anything about. That's where the best apps come from. And right now, the tool to build one is free and right in front of you. It kind of feels like being early to something good, like getting into bitcoin back in 2014. So go for it.
How we pick the top 3
When we pick the winners, we look at three things:
- Is it complete, and does it solve a problem for the person using it? (Again, small is fine, as long as it's complete.)
- How does it look and feel to use?
- How real and important is the problem it solves, and how far could the app go from here?
How to join
When you're done, just submit your app here:
All the rules and details are inside the form, so give it a quick read. One small tip: when you start, make a Cloud project (not a Local one) so you can submit it later.
The key dates:
- Build window: starts Saturday 20 June 00:00 UTC
- Submit by: Sunday 21 June 23:59 UTC
- Winners announced: by Thursday 25 June, on our LinkedIn and X (we'll email the winners first to get your handles so we can tag you)
And if you get stuck or have a question while building, just click the question mark in the bottom right corner inside your project and talk to us. We're here all weekend.
Oh, and the tool just got way better
We really think you can build something great with Nowa in these 48 hours. Last Sunday we released Nowa 3.9, and it's a big step up:
- It can take on bigger, harder ideas. It runs a few AI agents at once that work on your project together, so it handles tricky prompts much better.
- It does more with fewer credits. We gave it a smarter way to look through your project, so it's faster and uses fewer credits. You can do more with less.
- It handles the annoying setup for you. If your app needs an outside package that usually needs some setup for a certain platform, Nowa just goes and does all of it in the background, without you even knowing.
We also added Nowa Run. It's a new way to test your app inside Nowa and see exactly how it will look and work once it's live. It builds from your real code, so what you see is the real thing. Before this, we had instant preview, which gives you a quick look, but it sometimes used placeholders for custom packages, so you'd still have to test on a simulator or your phone. Now you don't need to do that anymore.
So, what are you building?
You've got 48 hours, a tool that's better than ever, and an idea that's been waiting. We can't wait to see what you build.
Go build something you're proud of, and don't forget to submit it!
Happy building, The Nowa team
